Household Tag
La did dum da da dum…*hum*~! Yes, I am happy. Nope, it is not Friday, no need to double check your calendar. Happy because my boss is on leave and I do not have to feel so stressed whenever I sent out any emails. Happy because SK is here and we met again for lunch just now. We went to Shillin and as usual, chat non-stop catching up for about an hour! If you ask what we chat about, I honestly cannot recollect and narrate back to you. Sufficient to say that, we talk about anything and everything! I guess that is how we know that we can be good friends. RK & SK, correct or not?
Lucky RK not here too because I think 1 hour would not have been enough. I can just imagine the fun if all three of us are on vacation together! I think we will talk and talk and talk with each other. Most likely if our hubbies is with us, we will completely ignore them and just chat among the three of us! HAHA! Gosh! I sure miss them a lot! At least SK, I have seen here twice since I been here and I know she will be here again early next month on her way back from her holiday with her hubby and kid. But RK, so many times say want to come because have cheap AirAsia fare, in the end, she change her mind. Sigh! RK, I am still waiting ah!
I got a big surprise from a colleague today. And this has made me realised that I finally can say that I am well and truly settled down here now. After more than four months here, I am glad. Although my apartment is still bare, only filled with bedroom and kitchen essentials, but life is less hectic now. Yes, I still have long hours during workdays, wake up at 6.30am and only reach home around 6.30pm if I am lucky. Most of the time, only home around 7pm. And then rest for awhile, cook rice and dinner. Eat around 8pm. By the time finish and clean up, already 9pm. Watch tv for awhile, already 11pm! Then go ironing and other house chores in between ler.
I am the type that cannot stand seeing mess and having things all over the place. Babe on the other hand, he can just leave him things wherever he goes! In the beginning, I will pick up after him and put the things back to it place. It is so frustrating actually. I even buy basket n boxes just for him to put his stuff but somehow, the things are never where it suppose to be. Now, I give up! I just leave the things where he left them. And when he start asking me where they are, I will say I don’t know since I didn’t take them! I think he cannot tahan also last weekend because he actually took the vacuum cleaner out and vacuum the WHOLE apartment!
Then hor, yesterday he go back, ask me how come all the glasses missing from the kitchen rack. I ask him where he last left it lar and ask him to check the living room. I expect him to bring the glasses to the kitchen and leave them in the sink as usual. Wah! Imagine my surprise when I hear the water running in the sink and he start to wash the cups AND the rice cooker! Either my nagging works or babe suddenly realised that he left most of the household chores to me and that he should be helping out too? I think most of you know that I hate household chores. Not sure how long this will last but I will definitely enjoy it!
And to answer Nick and Rose tag on the household chores that I hate most? I will say that the one thing that I absolute hate and dislike doing (among all the dislikes!) is IRONING! I know a few ladies out there that didn’t like them too. When I first relocated here, babe expects me to do all his ironing for him! Boy oh boy! Did he find out how much I hated it. Whenever I am ironing, he will make sure that he either stays far away from me and not ask me much questions because I turned into a super grouch when I am in front of the ironing board. To top it off, that time we were still staying with his friend and I think some of you will remember some of my posting complaining about the heat.
The house basically is an oven. All windows closed all the time. The door (a very small door) hardly opens at all. The fan is seldom on! So, when ironing, it is like standing in front of the burning stone in the sauna room! To make matter worse, the iron is the old type that does not help much is making the ironing job any easier. It seems that no matter how hard you press or the number of times you press the pants with the hot iron; it seems to still look ugly and rumbled! Sometimes, I just couldn’t be bothered and just let those few lines stay where they are!
After we moved to our apartment, although the temperature in the house is definitely cooler, I still hate ironing. Eventhough we bought a pretty good steam iron, which definitely makes the job a lot easier, I still hate it. Especially during weekends, just got back from walking miles and miles at the mall, come back, still need to stand there and do ironing! Gosh! That is when babe make sure that he avoids me and not ask me for anything at all or else I will definitely snap back at him or show my super sour face! I know SK actually enjoy ironing and I ask her for her secret! She say, she wants to feel proud when her hubby wear those wrinkle free shirt to work. Ermm..I don’t think that is not my kind of motivation!! I don’t care bah! Hahaha!! So bad! BLUEK!

Tag!
Wow! I am got the same tag from two different people, Rose and Billy's mom: thanks you guys! I have not done a tag in a long long long time! Anyway, here goes!
1. When you buy a greetings card, are the words or the picture more important to you?
Gosh! Been a long time since I buy a greetings card since most time use those free e-card! Hhmm..I guess both words and picture important.
2. What's your favorite kind of cake?
I love rich moist chocolate cake! So predictable right? hahaha
3. Do you ever make gifts for people, if so what, or do you buy them?
If I do make, it will be something I bake
4. What's your favorite holiday?
All holidays are great actually but I particularly enjoyed my trip to Tenri Nara, Japan. Only wish my babe was with me to enjoy it together.
5. Are you going on holiday this year?
Yes, planning to go Malacca for daytrip with a group of babe’s friends next weekend.
6. What was the best party you've ever been to?
Best party? Too many (and too long ago) to remember! haha
7. If you are married, describe your wedding. If not, what would your ideal wedding be like?
If you asked me this questions last year, I will tell you that I would love to have a garden or beachside wedding. But now, I think a simple church wedding will do. Rather save the money for other stuff! Too worldly for you?
8. What's the most romantic thing that's ever happened to you?
Most romantic? I think it would be when babe proposed! He didn’t go on bended knees or stuff like that. There wasn’t even a ring but I guess it was romantic because I was not expecting it.
9. What's your favorite girls' name?
Mia and Alexandria
10. What's your favorite boys' name?
Ian, Alexander and Ryan
11. Which celebrity would you like a dream date with?
Alamak! This is a tough one for me because I am not really into celebrities. Hhhmm…..skip?
12. Which female celebrity do you find beautiful? Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston?
Angelina Jolie but I think she is abit too skinny....
13. Which male celebrity do you think is attractive?
Again, ALAMAK! Hahahaha! SKIP!

Impatient– I have problem with patience too! I am the one that get frustrated faster and more often than babe most of the time!

How Quirky Am I?

1. I absolutely cannot stand people nagging. When someone starts to nag, I can feel my eyes start to roll up, my breathing become shallow and I will start to have headache! Yes, it is that extreme...
2. I will run and start to panic when I see frogs.
3. I must have one cup of coffee in the morning or else I will not be able to function at all. Even during weekends or public holiday, if I dont have my coffee for the day, I will feel so flat by noon time.
4. I have the tendency to say "I MEAN, bla bla bla"
5. I also have great imagination like Rose, I always have the feeling that the my handphone is ringing eventhough it is not.
6. I have the tendency to get excited about something but got bored half way thru. (I know, this is bad but when it matters, of course I will follow thru lar)

Playing Dominoes
I got this rather unique named tag from Rose called Let's Play Domino. Have not been playing dominoes in a long long time. I can still remember as a kid, the chinese movies will show people gambling with cards that looks pretty similar to the dots on dominoes. Of course, when my dad finally agreed to get me one set of the real dominoes, we had great fun playing with them, i.e. lining them up one after another and then give the first domino block (stick?) a gentle push. Great fun to watch all those block fall down one after another.
So, I guess this tag is pretty similar in the sense that by tagging at least 5 people, we will be able to see the chain that goes around the world (hopefully).

What I Love and Hate (meme)
Windy tag me with the meme called What I love and hate. I think I did this once before but I dont mind doing it again and I am pretty sure some of the things I love and hate will be different from my previous answer. Just for fun, I am going to try something different and put any many love & hate with Obi as the main topic...hehehe...
1) Love to eat: At any place that serve good food with good service as Obi is not there
2) Hate to eat: I hate liver also (hahaha..the only non-Obi related thing:P)
1) Love to go on: Gossiping session with the gals especially to b'tch about Obi.
2) Hate to go on: Evidence and fact finding session just because Obi do not trust what was said.

Questions & Answer - Me?
I got this tag from Didi and decided that since I have already watched the season of House before, I might as well do something useful and do some blogging instead. Right, I think this tag is basically to let people know more about me and I will try my best to answer them as honestly as possible without making anyone falling asleep (psstt...in case you detect a white lie anyway, pretend you just see the white and not the lie :P)
1.) What was your dream during childhood?
- Dream as in what I want to be when I grow up or dream when you are sleeping? If dream to be when I grow up, well, believe it or not, I want to be a secret agent. Aint it cool to have the adult agents coming into the classroom and tell your teacher that they need to whisk jen away from the class for a secret mission? hehehe..I know, I know, chi sin... If it is about what I dream when I was sleeping, well, I think since I am crazy about horror and ghost movies as a kid and yet like to hide behind a pillow or my big stuff teddy, I tend to have terrifying ghost and monster related dream!
2.) Rainy days or sunny days. Why?
- I like rainy days because there is alot of things you can enjoy during rainy days. For example, dance in the rain. That is fun right (Dont lie, I am sure you did that at least once in your life). Or lying in bed at night under nice warm blanket with the watson pink stuffed dog and hearing raindrops falling on the roof. Or just sitting in the house looking out of the window when there is a drizzle just after a heavy storm. I used to tell a friend that I can actually smell the rain sometimes...
3.) Which colour do you prefer?
- I am always in black since it suppose to have the slimming effect. But I am trying to brighten my looks. So, pink is the color I am into at the moment.
4.) Who would you marry?
- Is this a trick question? Babe, is this a trick question?
5.) What present would you prefer best?
- A gift that is received or given when it is least expected and seeing the smile on the person's face when they see the gift.
6.) What are you most afraid of losing?
- Love ones and family more than anything else in the world. They will always be my top priorities.
7.) If you met someone you love, would you confess to him her or keep it a secret?
- Well, I dont believe in love at first sight but if I have a CRUSH on someone, I will not confess to him because I am actually a very shy gal^_^
8.) The dumbest thing you had done in your life?
- Errrm...would knowingly allow someone take advantage of me count?
9.) Which type of person you hate the most?
- I absolutely dislike people that like to talk big, do name dropping and show-off. There is this uni classmate of mine that is absolutely handsome but he really really like to do name dropping alot. I mean in almost every conversation that he made, he will start with, do you know such and such person bla bla bla bla. First few time, you feel so blurred and actually fell stupid but after awhile, it just get old and boring. To make matter worse, I know he have something for me to the extend that he start to 'accidentally' touch me and I got crept out once when he supposedly 'accidentally' brushed his hands across my butt in the lecture hall which is full of people!!! I was already dating my babe then and sufficient to say that I make sure that I am never alone with him no matter what.

- Would winning millions from the lottery count? hahaha
11.) Would you rather be someone else at this moment?
- Yah, a motivated self. With my Obi, I have no motivation to work most of the time and that is extremely dangerous as it mean the person will be prone to making mistakes and missing something.

- Ermm...can I say winning millions from the lottery again? :P

What I Love And Hate
Billy's mom tagged me with What I Love and Hate tag.
1). I love to eat; Anything with Oyster. I keep on thinking of the oyster mee sua that I had at a Taiwan Snack House in Bukit Raja. Heard there is one in 1U too.
2). I hate to eat; Bad low quality food especially yucky chicken nuggets.
1). I love to go on; a stress free long vacation where people can only reach me in dire emergency.
2). I hate to go on; shopping spree in a jam packed supermarket with inconsiderate people leaving their shopping cart in the middle of the lane.
1). I love it when; it rains and I am curl up in bed during weekend or public holiday with my babe and fluffly teddy bear (hahaha childish!)
2). I hate it when; it rains cats & dogs while I am on the road trying to reach my destination in the shortest time possible.
1). I love to see; sunset or sunrise on a cruise ship for my honeymoon. (babe, if u r reading tis, tat is a hint!)
2). I hate to see; kids throwing tantrums, screaming & kicking on the floor in public places (God, I pray my future kids wont be like that)

This time about how happy I am. Actually I am abit surprised that I am not 100% happy since I just got back from my long date with my babe! WAHHH MY FIRST TAG EVER!!
Rose has tagged me and her tag:
"What are my goals for this year 2008"!
Guess I have no choice but to tell you my New Year Resolution now huh? I was trying really really hard not to write about this in my blog because it seems that is the topic that everyone else is writing in their blog. But I do have really alot of resolution this year. Some of which, I made in past years but never managed to achieve them. Somehow, other things become more important and that particular goal got sidetrack. Ok, so here goes:
1. Consistently lost weight from now till Dec08
My plan is to lost 3-4kg per month. This way, I will achieve my target weight way ahead of the plan (hahaha..kiasu!)
2. Settle off my credit card debt
Not sure how to do this but thinking of getting personal loan but I guess I will need to see about the wedding plan first
3. Hopefully get the job that I want in KL
4. Get married without too much hiccup
5. Spend more time with my parents
Hhhmm..ok, this 5 should be enough to keep me occupied for the whole year!
