Woke up this morning feeling extremely lazy and wishing that I had listen to my heart before the long break to take today off. But in the end decided against it since Obi is not around today! I want to cherish the feeling of not having someone constantly breathing down my neck and asking redundant questions early in the morning. The office is very quiet today. Only 4 out of 11 people working today. When the 4 of us came to work this morning, we say we will be monster coming out to play. But so far, we have been very good and working hard. Trying to catch up with the work after the long holiday actually.
Yes, catch up with work. Not everyone in the world is having holiday for the Chinese New Year. Those in the US and European countries are working as usual. So are my customers in Japan. So, things are still happening on their side of the world and they are still sending emails to me despite the fact that I did tell them that we are off. Guess they just cant wait or they rather send the emails first so that the ball now is in my court. On top of that, will be very busy this week as well since my customers are coming to visit us next week.
On and off, while working or doing anything, I will feel my stomach churn and heart palpitate whenever I think of the KL thingie. Yah, nervous and excited at the same time. I asked my babe what he feel about it. Whether he is excited or not... All he can say is, abit and will only get more excited when he see me in front of him in person and actually going to start work. Geez...
And then I sms babe asking him about Valentine's Day and telling him how sad I am that it will be the first Valentine that we are not together. I was expecting him to say nevermind because subsequent years for sure will be together since we are getting married. But instead, he say: SO? ggrrr......So kek tiok (frustrated).
Then I tell him that he better iron his own clothes in the future as that is one of the things that I hate the most. Almost all of my clothes does not require ironing and even if it does, it is very easy to iron. I really hate ironing pants because I will either get too many crease or not align the damn pants properly and the other side that I am ironing on will be all wrinkled again. So, usually, whenever I buy any pants for my dad, I will always look for those wrinkle free or EasyIron type.
Anyway, coming back to what I was saying. I told him he better not expect me to do the ironing for him because I hate them. I dont mind doing the cooking but he need to help with the cleaning up,etc. Or if I have to work late, he cook lor sometimes. And guess what he say...... " what for lar you come here then?"...~>_<~ I know he is teasing lar but I still feel kek tiok. hhmppff....So I tell him to just go ahead and wear his wrinkled clothes to work in the future. I dont mind :P
Jiak lak, I am day dreaming so early in the day and I still have 2 or 3 reports to prepare...
Hahahaha ... well, I use to day dream and tell Henry that I hate cooking and don't expect me to cook 7 days a week.. He too must contribute in cooking!!!
ReplyDeletealamak, didi, ur daydreaming is even more keng than me

ReplyDeleteBilly's mom,
ReplyDeleteHow come no need to iron anymore?
Hi Jen,
ReplyDeleteWe use dryer and the trick is to take the laundry out from the dryer immediately after it done. Also my hubby wear jeans all the time even for work. So no need to do ironing lah :-))
Billy's mom,
ReplyDeleteLucky you! Dryer is not so common in Malaysia but I think I understand what you mean.
